Dear Parents,

Last week we exchanged names.  If you did not see the note that was sent home with the child’s name that your child selected, please let me know.  I will send another note home.  I kept a master list.

Sometimes, parents or students want to buy me a gift.  I encourage anyone who would like to do this to buy a gift for the room.  That is what I enjoy.  You might want to consider a new ball for recess, or a new game for the centers, or new puzzles to put together, or markers for the art center.  If a child brings a gift for the room, I let them open it then we all clap and say thank you.  The children have really enjoyed this in the past and so have I.  Just mark the gift for Mrs. Bloch’s Classroom.

We will be starting to rehearse for the Christmas Service at your church.  It is important that your child knows their memory since we do not give 1st graders sheets to read.  They need to have their songs memorized.

The Christmas Concert is on Thursday.  The children should come to my room on Thursday evening.  We will be watching a movie while you enjoy the concert.  The children will come in for their part of the concert.

A special thank you to Mr. Hartman and Mrs. Sipes who helped with our Advent Preparation Party.  The children enjoyed getting ready for Christmas.

Here is a list for our Christmas Party on December 19th.

 Napkins – Phoebe Hughel

Snack – Brayden Murphy

Drinks – Davis Tracey

Favors – Aidan Hiester

 Thanks,

 Mrs. Bloch
