REMINDERS

We had a fun walk to the park and back with our learning partners. We picked up trash on the way and released our butterflies when we arrived.  We even had time to play for a few minutes before returning.

FIELD TRIP—Each child needs to bring a lunch and drink on Tuesday.  We will eat our lunch at a park that is located just past the zoo.  The children may bring money to buy a souvenir at the zoo gift shop. If your child needs to sit in a booster seat he/she needs to bring it on Tuesday.  I will have directions to the zoo for drivers.

We will have a  special speaker on Thursday morning.  He is from the Creation Museum in Cincinnati.

This is the last newsletter.  I have enjoyed having your son/daughter this year.

Important Advice:   Keep your child reading this summer.  Research has shown that children lose reading skills over the summer months.  Help your child start second grade on a strong note and encourage them to read books!  (practicing counting money and telling time wouldn’t hurt either J)
