THIRD GRADE NOTES

MAY 24 – 28, 2010

 

Dear Parents,

            The countdown is now only a few more days. The long awaited vacation is near. I can’t believe the year has gone by so quickly. I have enjoyed this class and will miss them next year. I wish them a safe and enjoyable summer and a great year next year.

            Our week looks like this:

SPELLING:  No Spelling this week

 

LUNCH BALANCE:  Please have all lunch balances paid up. Access to report cards on the Webgrader will not be granted until all accounts have been paid.

 

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL – TUESDAY, June 1st

            Family Units fun day

            School picnic – no charge for lunch for students

            Awards assembly 12:45 p.m.

            Closing chapel 2:15 p.m.

 

THANK YOU to Jessica Sons, Kim Bobb, and Mike Lang who were chaperones for our field trip. THANK YOU to all of you for your help and cooperation this year. Having good parents to work with helps to make for a good year.

 

DON’T FORGET to have your child reading all summer. The sign up for the summer reading program at the public library is Tuesday, June 1st. Also, on those long drives to vacation areas, why not review multiplication facts to make the time go fast!
