Mrs. Tracey’s News and Notes for the week of May 24, 2010

Hello!  I hope you had time to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend!  It finally feels like summer is on its way!  I will list the items of importance for this our final newsletter!

A big thank you to our chaperones for a wonderful field trip to Indianapolis!  Thank you Sam’s mom, Kalee’s mom, and Noah’s dad for volunteering to come along with us on our field trip!

A.R. goals need to be made by this Wednesday, May 26th, as we get ready to figure up report card scores.  Remember A.R. is worth 25% of the Reading score.

If you haven’t picked up your child’s NWEA scores yet, they are available in the school office.

We are so excited to have Ken Coats from the Creation Museum with us on Thursday.  The discussion will take place from 8:30-10:45 A.M.  This will be a wonderful learning experience for students.

Report cards will be handed out on Tuesday, June 1st.  Please remember that cards will be kept until all outstanding balances have been paid.  Thank you for attention to this.

I have thoroughly enjoyed having your child in my class this year.  I feel they are well prepared for fifth grade and will do very well.  I do encourage your child to review multiplication facts over the summer.  Also, please enroll your child in the Summer Reading program.  Your child will become a slower reader if they do not practice this skill.  Thank you for your support and prayers throughout the school year!  Enjoy your summer!  May God Bless!

In Christ,

Mrs. Tracey
