Mrs. Tracey’s News and Notes for the week of March 8, 2010

What a great weekend!  It was so nice to feel like spring was finally in the air.  What an awesome way to start off National Lutheran Schools’ week!

I will list the items of importance for this week.

This week is a special week of fun and excitement as we celebrate with Lutheran Schools all over the nation.  How lucky we are to be able to worship our Lord and Savior so openly each day!  Special happenings this week are the following:

Monday:  Maroon and Gold Day

Tuesday:  Dress as a Service Person ex. doctor.  It is also Taco Bell Day!  Students will need to let me know in the morning if they would like an extra taco for $.75 on this day.  It will be a hard-shell taco with everything on it.

Wednesday:  Hat Day

Thursday:  Crazy sock or shoe day

Friday:  Pajama day (please be respectful in your dress).

This Friday is the end of the Third Nine-Week grading period.  Report cards will be sent home on March 24th.  A.R. goals for this nine-week period will also need to be made by Friday.

Next week is Spring Break!  I hope everyone gets a chance to rest and relax to gear up for the last nine-week marking period.

This Friday will be our spring party day.  The following students volunteered to bring items in for the party.  We have 17 students in our class.

Cookies or cupcakes:  Jacob Emily

Drinks and cups if needed:  Kalee Wall

Napkins and plates:  Abby Wheeler

Bag of candy or treat bags:  Devin Freese

Students can just bring in their items in the morning.  Thank you very much!

Book order is due this Thursday, March 11th.  Thank you!

A permission slip was sent home on Friday to allow students to jump on the inflatables.  Please return it as soon as possible.
