Many Notes : One Song
Note of the Week
The Note of the Week must be Jesus.
His birthday is what we have been
waiting for these weeks of Advent.
With all the commercialism, I know that
your family will take time to really celebrate the true meaning of
Christmas with family traditions.
Just some suggestions follow.
Read the story of Jesus’ birth before
you open the gifts.
Bake a birthday cake for Jesus.
Have the children sing some favorite
Christmas carols or go out in the neighborhood and carol.
Visiting a nursing home during the week
and spreading the Christmas joy can also be a way of sharing the
Christmas spirit.
Take some slightly used toys to Anchor
House.
All of these suggestions will help your
child appreciate Christmas even more.
Have a blessed Christmas and a Happy
NewYear! |

Literature Circle
We will start another Literature Circle when we return after the
holiday break. A
calendar will be sent
home on Monday, Jan. 5th.
Since this is our second Literature Circle the students
should be familiar with the process and I look forward to it going
smoothly. |
